Who can take part

  • Child must be diagnosed with hydrocephalus using a CT or MRI scan.
  • Child can be any sex and up to 17 years old (under 18).
  • Child must not have an active infection or bleeding in the brain fluid.
  • Child must not have had a prior VP shunt or ETV surgery.
  • Child must not have multicystic hydrocephalus.
