Acid-reducing medicine for aspiration in children with laryngomalacia

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 months and 5 years old.
  • Your child has a diagnosis of laryngomalacia (a floppy voice box) confirmed by a scope exam.
  • Your child has had repeated choking attacks or signs of food or liquid going into the airway (aspiration).
  • Your child does not have any neurological conditions, birth defects, or other causes of breathing trouble.

Tube-fed children at high risk for aspiration pneumonia

This Phase 4 study looks at gastrointestinal movement (dysmotility) and how it may increase the risk of aspiration pneumonia in children who eat through a tube and have swallowing safety problems.
