Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosed lung condition (such as AAT deficiency, cystic fibrosis, COPD, sarcoidosis, or another condition listed) or you are a healthy volunteer or relative of someone with a lung disease
  • You have evidence of lung disease on chest X-ray and/or abnormal lung function tests (or you are a healthy control participant)
  • You are at least 18 years old (some conditions like cystic fibrosis allow ages 8+, and some genetic conditions allow ages 2+)
  • You are able to complete lung function breathing tests reliably
  • You do not have a serious condition that would make study procedures too risky
