  • Aged between 50 and 74 years
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) between 25 and 45, which means being overweight or moderately obese
  • Your weight has stayed about the same (not up or down by more than 5%) in the past 6 months
  • Generally in good health, with no serious heart, kidney, lung, or metabolic condition
  • You are not currently meeting guidelines for aerobic or resistance exercise (so you are somewhat inactive)
