Who can take part
- You have confirmed multiple myeloma that is worsening (progressive disease) and has measurable signs of disease within 4 weeks of starting the study (or your doctor may still enroll you if disease levels are very low).
- You’ve had 1–3 prior treatments for myeloma (including at least one that may have included lenalidomide), and you’re eligible based on your latest disease changes.
- Your kidneys and liver work well enough: creatinine clearance is at least 60, and bilirubin/AST/ALT blood tests are within required limits.
- Your blood counts are adequate: neutrophils, hemoglobin, and platelets meet minimum thresholds (or low counts are judged to be from the disease).
- You must be able to take a blood-thinner/anti-clot medicine (to prevent clots) during the study.
- If you’ve had CD38 therapy or carfilzomib before, you must not have had poor response, progression during/soon after it, or stopping due to a related side effect.
