Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- Your autoimmune disease (such as lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, or others listed) has not responded to or has come back after at least 6 months of standard treatments like steroids or other immune-suppressing medicines.
- Your blood tests show a certain level of disease activity and that your organs like bone marrow, liver, kidneys, and heart are working well enough.
- You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and you agree to use birth control during the study and for 6 months after.
- You have not had cancer in the last 5 years, do not have uncontrolled infections, and do not have serious heart or nervous system problems.
