This Phase 2 trial tests adding a PD-1 “immunotherapy” medicine (a type of cancer-fighting antibody) along with stereotactic body radiotherapy (very focused radiation) to treat nasopharyngeal cancer that has spread to only a few places. It may help shrink remaining visible spots after initial local radiation and see whether this “consolidation” approach improves control of the cancer.
