Do we need a stent after kidney stone surgery?
This study looks at whether placing a temporary tube (called a stent) in the ureter after kidney stone surgery is always necessary. Some patients get a stent to help urine flow, but it can cause discomfort. The trial aims to see if skipping the stent is safe and leads to fewer symptoms. If you are having kidney stone surgery, participating might help determine the best approach for recovery.
