Use of stored, de-identified samples for research
This trial is for people who already agreed to let researchers use their stored biological samples and medical information that has been removed of personal identifiers. It may help future studies by allowing researchers to analyze existing samples without using new samples from you.
Hong KongAges Any age - NCT04708431Recruiting
Study of health and wellbeing in people with androgen insensitivity
This study looks at the long-term health and wellbeing of people with androgen insensitivity, a genetic condition that affects how the body responds to androgens (male-type hormones). It may help your care team understand what to watch for over time and improve future guidance for patients and families.
Bethesda, MarylandAges 8–99 - NCT04708587Recruiting
Choosing the right anti-platelet duration for advanced kidney disease
This study looks at the best length of anti-platelet medicine (which helps prevent stent clots) after a new type of heart stent. It specifically focuses on people with advanced chronic kidney disease, where bleeding and clot risks can be higher.
SeoulAges 19–84 - NCT04712305Recruiting
Urine test to predict kidney cancer response to immunotherapy
This study uses an at-home-style urine test (urine “omics,” meaning detailed lab information) to help predict how well immunotherapy may work for advanced kidney cancer. If you join, your urine results may help doctors tailor treatment choices and better understand who benefits most.
TaipeiAges 20 years+ - NCT04722939Recruiting
Testing brain function outcomes after ICU kidney failure treatment
This trial studies how treating severe kidney injury in the ICU may affect patients’ brain and thinking function over time. It compares measurements of brain activity and function after starting kidney replacement therapy.
Kingston, OntarioAges 18 years+ - NCT04723862RecruitingEarly Phase 1
Spironolactone to test sleep hormone patterns in teen girls
This early-phase study tests whether spironolactone can “normalize” a key hormone timing pattern during sleep and wake cycles in mid-to-late pubertal girls who have high male-hormone levels. The goal is to learn how this medicine may affect hormone rhythms related to conditions like PCOS.
Charlottesville, VirginiaAges 10–17 - NCT04724018RecruitingPhase 1/Phase 2
Enfortumab and sacituzumab for metastatic bladder cancer
This Phase 1/2 trial tests whether combining sacituzumab govitecan with enfortumab vedotin (and in one group, pembrolizumab) can shrink or control metastatic urothelial (bladder/urinary tract) cancer. It’s mainly for people whose cancer has grown despite prior treatment.
Boston, MassachusettsAges 18 years+ - NCT04725903Recruiting
Proton beam radiation for high-risk prostate cancer
This trial tests proton radiation therapy for people with high-risk prostate cancer. It may help by delivering radiation in a more targeted way, with the goal of controlling the cancer while reducing exposure to nearby healthy tissue.
Atlanta, GeorgiaAges 18 years+ - NCT04729114RecruitingPhase 1
Safety and dose test of PRL-02 shot for advanced prostate cancer
This Phase 1 study tests how safe PRL-02 depot (an injection) is and finds the best dose for men with advanced prostate cancer. It may help determine a new treatment option for cancers that have spread or are getting worse despite standard care.
Tucson, ArizonaAges 18 years+ - NCT04732156Recruiting
Test AI and MRI scores to spot prostate cancer
This study compares how well a doctor’s MRI reading (the PI-RADS score) and a computer AI tool detect prostate cancer. It may help improve how men get targeted biopsies and avoid missing important cancers.
BordeauxAges 18–80 - NCT04734730RecruitingPhase 2
Talazoparib plus hormone therapy for metastatic prostate cancer
This trial tests whether talazoparib added to standard hormone therapy (ADT), along with abiraterone, can better control metastatic prostate cancer that hasn’t progressed despite starting hormone treatment. It may help people live longer and delay cancer worsening.
Duarte, CaliforniaAges 18 years+ - NCT04734106RecruitingEarly Phase 1
