Desarda vs Lichtenstein hernia repair comparison
This trial compares two surgical techniques for repairing a first-time inguinal hernia (a bulge in the groin). Both methods aim to fix the hernia with a mesh, but the Desarda technique uses a piece of your own abdominal muscle, while the Lichtenstein technique uses a synthetic mesh. The study will see which approach leads to fewer complications and better recovery.
