Capsaicin-like drug for severe cancer pain
This Phase 1 trial tests a new drug related to capsaicin (resiniferatoxin) to reduce severe nerve pain from advanced cancer. It is given through a small catheter near the spinal fluid space and is meant for people whose pain medicines and other options have not worked well enough.
